Celebrating Double Google Specialist Success

As a Google Partner, it is key that our team keeps their Google qualifications up to date. This allows us to ensure that we are at the forefront of digital developments and that our Digital Marketers are continually swotting up on their AdWords knowledge.

As part of this professional development, Digital Marketing Director, Simon Butterworth and Digital Account Manager, Sarah Kelly took on the Google Specialist Challenge.

What is it?

The Google Partners Specialist Challenge is an opportunity for agencies to tap into their competitive spirit and put their AdWords expertise to the test. The challenge sees digital marketers complete 6 AdWord exams in a set amount of time.

What makes it so special?

Firstly, the time restrictions. Our team only had 6 weeks to complete all 6 exams. Secondly, Reckless is celebrating a double success; with most agencies only putting one team member through the challenge.

Simon was recently promoted to Digital Marketing Director following a successful four years at Reckless. The digital marketing team is responsible for the management of over £600,000 of annual Google Ad Spend per year (with this figure growing each month), so these certifications are very important to keep up to date with.

Sarah recently joined Reckless in June 2016. Since coming on board as a Reckless recruit she has been quick to secure several new clients as well as build on existing client relationships for the agency.
